Spindrifter Airdome Range

 

The Spindrifter bottom drain is known worldwide for its quality and design. This Spindrifter bottom drain completely replaces the "Standard Bottom Drain."

The most noticeable feature of the Spindrifter bottom drain is the extra 1 inch Dia Pressure pipe connection in the sump of the drain. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.

 

The membrane and backing plate on the Spindrifter bottom drain fits into a recess in the specially manufactured dome (provided). The recess in the Spindrifter bottom drain prevents the membrane from becoming detached. The complete assembly is secured to the Spindrifter bottom drain by means of a stem, which also provides the air inlet. Most water pipe sizes can be accommodated, the customer to specify. The air inlet is via a nickel plated connector.

Spindrifter Direct Air Kit 

​

the Spindrifter Direct Air Kit allows you to hook up your air pump direct to the Diffuser; this means no Airline has to be threaded down the 1 inch pressure pipe. This has a number of advantages but the main one is no water can find its way down the 1 inch Pressure Pipe, which potentially will hold stagnant water and the dreaded blanketweed.

This is where the machined Direct Air Feed connector glues in, supplying Air to the main diffuser stem. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.

The second part of the Direct Air Feed glues on the end of the 1 inch pressure pipe which typically will be located in the filter house, enabling you to connect to the Air Pump.

This Direct Air Kit also prevents any back pressure, causing premature failure on your Air pumps.

Spindrifter Drain Lid  

These Spindrifter Replacement Air Domes replace the standard dome on your 4" bottom drain. The unit has a wide diameter rubber insert with thousands of tiny holes to allow the air flow to come out.

The air line supply can either be inserted inside the length of the bottom drain pipe - coming out at a convenient place near to where your Air pump will be situated, or it can, be simply run across the base of the pond to your Air pump.

You will need to order the correct Air dome for your bottom drain and Air inlet hosetail as required.
43mm stem fits 1.5" waste - 48.3mm stem fits 1.5" pressure

Ideal for all types of bottom drains.

EDPM rubber membrane which can be replaced.

Suitable for up to 80 ltrs of air at 6ft depth.

Spindrifter Freestanding Dome 

Pond aerator with a ten inch EDPM rubber membrane and as 4500 holes each cut without the removal of any of the parent rubber and is secured to a backing plate by a purpose made koi friendly plastic clip.

 

A 316 stainless steel Tee welded to a 316l L stainless steel circular plate provides the attachment point for the aerator assembly and the air inlet valve a nickel plated hosetail that comes in three different sizes 1/4 hose,1/2 hose and 3/8 hose

Large Sump Bottom Drain For installation at lowest point of pond. A must for gravity fed systems. Ideally suited for draining heaver particles to waste or filter system. Can be reduced down to 3" if required. 4" (110 mm) exhaust
