Activex

Activex filtration bacteria contains a mineral rich gel that sticks to all filter media. The minerals in the gel are food for the filter bacteria allowing them to rapidly reproduce and therefore colonise the filter faster. Activex contains all the necessary strains of bacteria that support the parts of the nitrogen cycle that are vital to a healthy pond filter system.

Dose: Introduce 10 ml of Activex per cubic foot of biological filter - there is no need to measure this precisely. Feed Activex into the biological part of the filter not the mechanical area. In a mature pond use Activex occasionally to boost filter performance particularly and after chemical treatment or heavy feeding.

In new ponds allow 2 or 3 days between each application of Activex. In the case of a new pond test the water frequently for ammonia and nitrite – when the filter is mature test regularly to ensure the water is safe for fish.

Aqua Balance Balls

Each ball is packed with millions of beneficial bacteria, which will help smooth out Ammonia and Nitrite spikes and keep your pond clean and healthy. The balls will slowly biodegrade as the bacteria is needed. Enzymes in the pond balls will help reduce organics in your pond, resulting in clearer water.

Suitable for any type of filter, ideally places in a mesh bag within the media. Ideal for use after using chemicals, to help (re)start filters and during frequent feeding.

Evolution Aqua - Pure Pond Bomb

PURE Pond Bomb is a fast acting, concentrated version of the Award Winning PURE POND. PURE Pond Bomb is ideal for use in Koi ponds, ornamental ponds, self contained water features or ponds which do not have conventional filtration, to achieve crystal clear, healthy water.

Inside the PURE Pond Bomb there is a unique combination of friendly bacteria and enzymes, which get to work as soon as the Bomb hits the water to clean up organic waste and break down the ammonia and nitrite, leaving your pond crystal clear and healthy.

One PURE Pond Bomb is effective on ponds up to 20,000 litres. Simply drop the PURE Pond Bomb into your pond filter or directly into the water as and when necessary. The bacteria and enzymes will react to the biological issues with in your pond. You cannot overdose with the PURE Pond Bomb.

Evolution Aqua - Pure Pond Balls

PURE POND are biodegradable balls, crammed full of live bacteria and enzymes that when added to your pond filter get to work breaking down Ammonia and Nitrite, whilst cleaning up organic waste.

The bacteria and enzymes are slowly released when they are needed most to address biological issues in the pond that are often the cause of poor clarity.

PURE POND balls work particularly well within the Nexus filtration system helping to smooth out any peaks and troughs in the Ammonia / Nitrite cycle. Simply add the balls into you biological chamber, ideally held within a filter bag, where they will agitate alongside the K1 Media.

PURE+ Filter Start Gel is a live, concentrated bacteria culture for use in new pond filters. The gel based solution will stick to the filter media, allowing the nitrifying bacteria it contains to rapidly colonise your filter. Once the filter media has been coated with PURE+ Filter Start Gel, the beneficial bacteria within the gel will speed up the maturation of your filter media, while helping to convert ammonia and nitrite, resulting in less stressed fish.

Microbe Lift Super Start

Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria has been specially formulated for all biological (bead) filters). Like most types of mechanical/biological filters, bead filters rely on the use of a media that provides a high surface area/volume ratio. This allows for the support of the necessary biomas, in the form of a biofilm, to properly remove organic and inorganic waste from the water.
